Mom evening text:

Dad is better today then Wednesday or Thursday. Pain now, the usual pain, and not overall feeling too great. Hasn't had a pain pill since noon though and he had been up and about. He was rigging up a thing to try to get this ball that was in our spout. A mesh thing he has put in there to keep spout from clogging but it was clogged and spout overflowing. He rigged up a hook on this pole and I got it out. So all the moving around got his pain stirred up. Supposed to rain a lot tonight. He thinks the bluebirds got out. Not feeding today.
