One of Mom's text messages during our conversation about our garden plants:

Ok we will water a little more. Dad wants me to bring them inside. He said he never has had the non hybrid tomatoes not come up. He thinks we may have planted on a bad day for seed planting as he always went by that seed planting calendar. He thought that was a farce but now he thinks it wasn't. Dad said to tell you his beard is getting fuller!
